The Concert room and the Lounge are available for hire whenever they are not being used for our regular or special events.

It is also possible to hire rooms outside normal opening hours. Christening and After Funeral Gatherings are the usual for these out of hours bookings.

If you have been in our Concert Room lately you will have seen that it has been refurbished by completely redecorating and recarpeting, creating a more comfortable environment for the many veterans who use the facilities.


We were able to do this because of a grant awarded by the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust. The Covenant fund has £10 million a year which it can use to improve facilities for serving members of the armed services, force families and veterans. The Trust has also funded forces cadets.


Our Treasurer, Mr Allan Meyers (also know as Joby) advises any organisation with armed forces personnel, veteran members or cadets to check the Trust website to see what they do and the projects they have funded. If any organisation belives they qualify, they should apply for a grant. It costs nothing and the application form is not difficult to complete.



    LOUNGE


If you are looking for a smaller and maybe more intimate room, our lounge is ideal. It will comfortably seat around 100 guests and we have an adjacent room (we call it the Snug) where you can set up a buffet if you wish.
